First, please let your field crews know, they MUST VERIFY the location of the benchmarks with the datasheets provided.  Some public entities have provided coordinates for their benchmarks based on scaling the location from a quad map, and some benchmark locations have been determined using a mapping program and scaling tool to determine their location.  Which means the location of these benchmarks may or may not be accurate on the map.  They will be in the correct general location, but should always be verified with the written or drawn descriptions.

This website charges fees on an automatically recurring schedule.  Which means if a user signs up for 6 months, the fee will automatically be charged again 6 months after the initial subscription.  This automatic charge will remain in effect until the user cancels their subscription.  See Return/Refund and cancellation policy below for further details on canceling a subscription.

Once subscribed you can not cancel your subscription for the first 24 hours.

SBM Solutions, LLC and its affiliates assume no liability for the survey information found on this website.  It is clearly stated hereon, that the site is merely a portal for displaying either public or private information.  SBM Solutions, LLC makes no attempt to verify or certify the benchmark information shown hereon.  Further the location of the points on the map are for informational purposes only, and should never be mistaken for actual latitude/longitude coordinates to be used for surveying purposes.  For further information on any benchmark, the user should contact the company or public entity that set the benchmark.  SBM Solutions, LLC is not a licensed surveying company, nor does it perform any surveying duties.

In the event that a benchmark is found to be inaccurate or no longer in existence, we request that you inform us immediately so that we may remove the benchmark from our system.  Together we can work to supply easily accessible information for a brighter surveying future.

For public benchmarks (provided by public entities):

Many municipalities and state agencies have terms and conditions to the use of their benchmarks.  It is the user's responsibility to be aware of these terms and conditions which can be found on most agencies' websites.  For information on a particular benchmark, click on the company information.  You will be shown contact information for that agency, by which you can contact that agency for any restrictions regarding the use of their benchmarks.

For benchmarks supplied by private entities:

It is the subscriber's choice to make their benchmarks available to other users.  SBM Solutions requests that you make your benchmarks available for other users because it promotes surveyors working together, and could potentially save the user that provides the benchmarks and the user searching for benchmarks time and money.  However, SBM Solutions can not be held responsible for the information provided.  The private benchmarks are to be used at the user's discretion, and should be verified by whatever means your firm deems necessary. 

Return/Refund and cancellation policy:

Subscriber is hereby informed that the fees for subscription are established either bi-annually or annually as chosen during subscription.  The charge will automatically recur each year or every 6 months as requested by subscriber.  By subscribing to this website, subscriber hereby agrees to this charge.  It is hereby stated that there will be no refunds issued.  Should the subscriber decide to cancel a subscription, the subscription shall remain available until the anniversary of said subscription, at which time the subscription shall be cancelled and no recurring billing will occur.
